Our Neighbourhood
Our home is in a convenient location, commutable to Dublin city but within easy access to the countryside and seaside. This is a nice, friendly area. The house is located beside Kilbogget Park which has scenic walk tracks, playground and field sports facilities.
We are near the port town of Dun Laoghaire which has many amenities and within 10 mins drive to the coast, where boats can be hired to visit Dalkey Island. We are also within 15mins drive to national walkways and nature trails in Wicklow. Wicklow has beautiful scenery and ancient historic sites of interest.
Dublin city centre is 30 mins away by car or easily accessible by public transport as the N11 is in close proximity. Cinema, ten pin bowling, public swimming, pitch & putt/ golf, gym and tennis facilities are within 5/10 mins drive. Restaurants and 'The Horse and Hound' pub (music weekends) are within walking distance in nearby Cabinteely village.
