Our home is situated in the northern part of central Copenhagen, in a popular area called Østerbro. Many of Copenhagen's touristic spots such as Strøget, the little Mermaid and Tivoli are easily reachable by bike (five bikes to explore the city) from our house within some 15-20 minutes. It is also a good starting point to discover the beautiful areas north of the city. It is just a short drive by car to the north bound highway to Helsingør, where you can take the ferry to Sweden.
From our home you can also take a short walk to the big open area of Fælledparken - an oasis in central Copenhagen. Østerbro as well as neighbouring Nørrebro are full of cafes, pubs, restaurants and boutiques.
The house itself is approximately 100 years old, originally built for three families. Over the years the house has transformed into an one family dwelling which consists of three floors plus basement and an attic. It has four bedrooms, one guest room, two living rooms, three bathrooms and one big open combined dining room and kitchen area where you also can enjoy a fire in the fireplace in the evening.
There are two small gardens in both directions of the house where you can enjoy breakfast, dinner or a glass of wine in the evening.
