House in San Francisco,

This house is in the geographic center of San Francisco. It is close to everything except busloads of tourists. The numbers 48, 35, and 37 buses all serve the neighborhood, with the #48 coming by your front door. The #48 connects to BART at the 24th Street station.

Much of the Noe Valley and Twin Peaks neighborhoods, with the multitude of Noe Valley shops, restaurants, bars, etc. within walking distance.

It's also worth noting that we have great neighbors, too. They are an asset of the highest degree.

About Our Family

We're just DINKS (Double Income, No Kids). We've lived here for 22 years, with frequent wandering along the way.

Lifestyle

We like to go where others don't. Disneyland, Machu Picchu, Times Square, Fisherman's Wharf are for the many. We prefer a side street in a secondary city, a shingled beach with no crowds, a movie with subtitles. We lived in Wellington, NZ for a while, and that was ideal for us, generally.

Another hint: We travel lightly and prefer to avoid gift shops and baggage carousels. As the line in "The Gods Must Be Crazy" goes, "bushmen don't need things." That's us.
