City home with nature garden and country house in beautiful lake district

We can offer two houses. The main house, our home is a very convenient and comfortable semi-detached house of 125 square meters on two floors. The house is the last house on a short and quiet “cul-de-sac” that ends in a pathway to a little forest and hill. The location is perfect for children and it is very quiet and relaxing with lots of bird song and the sound of the wind in the trees. In the garden there is a big trampoline and a small pool. We also have bicycles, kick bikes, skateboards etc. Neighbors are friendly and quiet and the next door neighbors are away most of the summer. Bordering the little secluded garden is a nature area consisting of a rocky hill and forest for the children to explore. Climbing the hill (which takes 3-4 minutes) reveals a stunning view of Gothenburg city.
The interior is newly restored in light colors. On the bottom floor is a small kitchen connected to the living room with eating area as well as TV-area and gaming. Next to the living room is the bedroom for the parents. It has windows from floor to ceiling and a beautiful view of the garden/forest. The top floor has three bedrooms perfect for children and a common room with a sofa, computers, TV etc for the children to use. Right now there is beds for five people, but  it possible to put in extra beds.
We offer the use of a Citroen Picasso with five seats, AC etc.
The house is situated in a lush green and hilly residential area called Lundby just north of the city center, on the opposite side of the river. It is walking distance to small shops. The walk to the tram is about five minutes and the tram ride to the center of Gothenburg is 12 minutes, also passing a large shopping center. By car it takes 10 minutes and by bike about 20 minutes to the center of town. 15 minutes drive (13km) to the west takes you straight to family friendly beaches by the sea/archipelago. Around the city, within I 20 minutes drive there are also a number of nice lakes for swimming and bathing in.
The second house is our little country house located in the small village Dalskog 140kms north of Gothenburg - 1h 45min by car. The region Dalsland is wonderful with hills, lakes (the closest a small lake in the forest just 10 minuter walk from the house) and forest - walking, canoeing, fishing etc. The house can accomodate 5-6 people. We have a boat in the nearby lake Kabbosjön, bicycles, free Wifi. TV and more.
We have had six wonderful ex-change experience and we are looking forward to summer 2020. We would love to visit Italy, Portugal, Spain, France or some big city like London, Paris or Barcelona. We are also open for ex-change with families in Sweden, Norway or Denmark, a week or just week-end in fall or spring.

About Our Family

The family consists of Minna (13 years), Lillit (16 years), Otto (18 years), Anette and Marcus. Marcus is a design researcher and Anette is a researcher in education. We have a guide dog, Mandy, a black labrador since Anette has limited eye sight. We need to be able to bring Mandy with us and she is a very well trained dog. Since our daughter Lillit is is allergic to fur Mandy is never on the top floor in our house, and we need to make a few other precautions to make this work living both with a guide dog and allergy. Therefore we do not allow other pets to our house. .
