Condo overlooking Kalorama Park Washington DC USA
Our flat is in a beaux art building overlooking Kalorama Park which forms the border between two desirable neighborhoods: the quiet leafy streets of elegant mansions and embassies of Kalorama, and the historic townhouses cafes, bars, restaurants and eclectic shops of Adams Morgan. Public transportation to the nearby museums, monuments and National Mall is literally outside the front door. The park features a community garden, children's playground, and butterfly garden; our vista west boasts picturesque and dramatic sunsets and the National Cathedral; and we are a short walk from the vast Rock Creek Park and the National Zoo.
The main bedroom features a queen size bed, an ensuite bath, and walk-in closet. The second bedroom/study also feaures a queen size bed and bath. The kitchen boasts a Viking stove, Subzero refridgerator and Bosch dishwasher. The flat is located on the fourth floor serviced by an elevator.
Washington DC is a good starting point for regional travel:
Philadelphia 2 hours
NYC 3 1/2 hours
Blue Ridge Mountans 1 1/2 hour
Atlantic Ocean beaches 2 hours.
