Location: Located in Madrid city in a quiet residential area in the district of Jeronimos Valenzuela street, 5 minutes walk from the Church of the Jeronimos (Gothic), the Prado Museum and Tyssen-Borsnemiza, two minutes from the Plaza de Cibeles and the Retiro Park. Very well connected by bus and metro to all the districts of Madrid, and commuter rail to cities like Alcala de Henares, Aranjuez and El Escorial.
The Atocha train station is 15 minutes walk and also has the commuter rail network, with high-speed trains that connect with cities like Seville and Barcelona in three hours.

Entertainment: Sightseeing in Madrid (museums, old quarters of the Hapsburgs, theater, musicals, restaurants, flamenco clubs, ...). On the same street is the famous restaurant Horcher, and close the restaurant Viridiana. It is located 5 minutes from Serrano street that contains the most exclusive boutiques (Loewe, Jewelry Suarez, Dior, Carolina Herrera, ...). You can walk and ride a bike or riding a boat on the lake in Retiro Park. A 20 minute bus is the Canoe Swim Club with gym, swimming pool and paddle tennis court, and the Swimming Hall of The World.

Region: Madrid is a well-connected city being the capital of Spain and occupying the geographical center of the peninsula.
Within the province and very well connected by trains and coaches a day, are the historic towns of Alcala de Henares, about 30 km, with the library of the sixteenth century, the town of El Escorial, in whose palace are buried all Spanish monarchs (approx. 40 kms) and the city of Aranjuez (about 40 km.) with its palaces and gardens.

All around are other medieval towns with great historical and artistic heritage, all well connected by trains and coaches:
Segovia, 60 km, with its famous Roman aqueduct and the Gothic cathedral.
Toledo, a medieval city, about 60 km, with its art Mozarabic, its Gothic cathedral, the synagogues, ... beautifully preserved.
Avila, 100 km, walled city, birthplace of St. Teresa of Jesus, with Romanesque and Gothic churches.

Cuenca, 160 km., With its hanging houses, located near the mountains, privileged natural enclave.

The high-speed trains passing through Madrid, makes any sightseeing can be done on a day to distant sites such as Cordoba and Seville (Andalusian cities Mozarabic art and Gothic), and Barcelona, which can be seen from modernism Gaudi to walk along its famous Ramblas, or the renovated seaport.
