House in Knivsta, Sweden

The house is a typical Swedish country-house (195 m2) with old-style wooden fences, and the inside is open with a large fireplace, two living-rooms and kitchen.
There are 3 bedrooms, all with large beds between 1,20-1,80 m in size. Upstairs we also have a big sofa-bed 1,20 m in the livingroom. We also have an inflatable double-bed possible to put up if needed. We believe there is room for 6-10 persons depending on how much space you need. Included are 2 bathrooms with possibilities to take a shower or a bath. There is also a laundry room where you may clean clothes if wanted.
Outside we have a garden with a big terass, grill and a house for the hens. The stables and the horses are just around the corner. If you want, we can let somebody else take care of our animals during your stay in our house.

About the neighborhood
Our home is situated in the countryside between Stockholm (45 min drive) and Uppsala (30 min drive). Also, it is very close to the Stockholm Arlanda airport (15 min drive) and to the beautiful archipelago in this part of the country (45 min drive).
We live in a small village called Husby-Langhundra in the community Knivsta. There are many farms and other houses around here, and there are some small lakes suitable for a swim in the neighbourhood.
In the village we only have a pretty church, a cinema, a school and some buildings where people meet and have social activities. On the 6th of June, there is a small Medevial festival with knights, lots of old-style things on a market, and things to eat and drink.

Marie et Peer nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux. Nous avons passé une soirée ensemble très agréable dans leur maison ce qui nous a permis d’appréhender au mieux notre séjour. Leur maison est très agréable et spacieuse. Nous avons pu aller à Stockholm facilement en train. Nous recommandons cet échange pour découvrir cette région de la Suède.

We are an easy-going Swedish family with a big interest in animals and the nature. Included in the family are 2 parents and three adult daughters aged 26, 30 and 33. The daughters do not live at home any more, but they might join us if we consider an exchange. Also, my mother, 82 years, and 2 boyfriends, and a granddaughter might be interested to join us on our travels.
We also have 2 horses, 2 dogs and a few hens and a rooster. The horses are too young to be ridden, so you can just give them carrots and look at them. From May-Oct, the horses are outside on pasture all day/nights. In the winther they are in the stables during the night. If you like, you can take the dogs for walks if you like. The hens give fresh eggs in the mornings. If you want, we can fix so that someone else to take care of the animals during your vacation.
We speak Swedish, English, some French and very little Spanish in the family.
Concerning exchanges, we may consider different options:
1. A regular exchange when you come to us when we go to you.
2. If a family stays with us when we are at home. You may come and go as you want. Then we might come to you other dates. Then you might get 2 bedrooms + an inflatable extrabed with a total room for 3-5 persons depending on how much space you need. You have the top floor, we have the bottom floor.
