The apartment is in the urbanization "Las Atalayas" 1,500 m. from the village and the beach in a quiet residential area with a beautiful view of the sea and Peniscola Castle. Te full address is:

España

You will need a car to move from the apartment to the beach

Peñíscola is one of the biggest tourist centres in the province of Castellon. The castle is located on the highest point of the city. It was built by the Knights Templar on the remains of an old Moorish citadel. It was built with walls of carved stone. Most of the rooms had barrel vaults. It is a sober and solid construction. It was the residence of Benedict XIII, who turned it into a palace and papal library when he moved to Peñíscola in 1411.
Beaches
Peniscola has great beaches, the finest of which is the north beach, which is around 5 kilometres long. This calm beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing and is fully serviced by lifeguards and leisure activities such as volleyball, sailing and canoeing as well as being wheelchair friendly. . The southern coastline is steep and rocky, dotted with tiny beaches and isolated coves.
Activities
There are plenty of things other things to do whilst staying in Peniscola besides sunbathing on the beach. The old city quarters are a visitors delight: antique shops, artist studios and pottery stores line the streets.

At 5pm the fishing trawlers come back into port and auction off their catch; you can buyfish right out of the boat.

There are many bars and outdoor restaurants and pubs and clubs near the old village

About Our Family

There are five people in my family: my husband (Josu) and my three children (Gorka, Laura and Maite). Nowadays we usually travel on our own and my daughters come to visit us if they can (depending on their holidays).
