A detached family home in the beautiful Scottish capital of Edinburgh,

A detached, 3 bedroom bungalow set in a quiet cul-de-sac with front & back gardens. Spacious living & kitchen space with doors opening to garden, 3 bedrooms (2 in converted attic space) & 2 bathrooms (1 with shower/ 1 with bath over shower). Beds for 4, but extra mattresses on floor could be added to accommodate 1 - 2 more. We are close to attractions such as The Royal Yacht Britannia & Edinburgh Castle. The Firth of Forth & the Botanic Gardens are nearby for lovely walks. The city is home to the world famous Military Tattoo, Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe & Book Festival July - August, but there is so much else to do here throughout the year for every taste: art galleries, film festivals, live music, diverse theatre, whisky tasting, restaurants for every budget & taste, local artisan markets, ghost tours, free museums, history a plenty, beautiful hills just at the city's edge - come and see!
Edinburgh is well situated for visiting other parts of Scotland, with excellent transport links to Glasgow, and the beautiful Scottish Borders & majestic Highlands both accessible within 2 - 3 hours car/ bus ride. Highland bus tours lasting 1/2/3 days are an easy to see the sights with a guide providing insightful commentary and prevent you getting lost.
Our house has front and back gardens, with a 12 ft trampoline in the back garden - suitable for adults! We have good local bus links, being just a 10 -15 mins bus ride to Princes Street and connecting with the trams accessing Edinburgh International airport, which is less than 10km away.
Edinburgh hosts the world famous Edinburgh Festival in August, with the Military Tattoo also taking place at the Castle. Edinburgh's New Town is a World heritage site, with diverse restaurants and a thriving arts scene, with multiple cinemas & theatres. Glasgow is just 45 mins away by train and the Highlands make an awe inspiring out of town day trip.
