Spacious 180 square meter 2-bedroom house in Kitsilano area of Vancouver. Close to beaches, centre, transit, shops, restaurants. Easy access to mountains, beaches, nature trails - urban living in the middle of stunning scenery. Ocean and mountain views from balcony. 2 adult bikes available with house. Vancouver has many bike paths through the city and along the water. Multiple surveys describe Vancouver as one of the most attractive and livable cities in the world, noted for being dynamic and multi-cultural.
Also willing to allow use of waterfront summer house on Gabriola Island. Private getaway with stunning views. Accessible in a few hours by ferry from Vancouver.

Kitsilano is located on Vancouver's west side, near the beaches, downtown and famous Stanley Park and Granville Island. Kilometres of walks along the ocean. Lots of restaurants. Easy to escape the city for mountains, oceans, Whistler mountain resort and Vancouver Island.
Gabriola Island is on the east coast of Vancouver Island. It has a vibrant artist community, with many galleries. Also hiking trails and beautiful beaches. Cycling and kayaking also available.

We are both university professors. Have adult children who no longer live at home.
Livsstil
Speak English, French and German. Keen to spend time in urban and rural France and Germany, as well as elsewhere in Europe. Currently very interested in the Alsace region.
