El estudio se encuentra en una ubicación excelente, en zona media-baja de la estación de esquí de Sierra Nevada y a cinco minutos andando de la plaza de Pradollano, donde se encuentra el centro neurálgico de la estación. Allí encontramos restaurantes, bares, cafeterías, supermercados, y remontes que nos sitúan en posiciones para conocer la Sierra (operativos tanto en temporada de esquí como en verano).

El vecindario es tranquilo y seguro. El acceso por carretera es cómodo, y con fácil aparcamiento en las inmediaciones. En los alrededores tenemos infinitas rutas de senderismo que empiezan en la misma estación, tomando el remonte o el coche o lanzadera desde Hoya de la Mora, para poder conocer el Parque Nacional de Sierra Nevada. Podemos dar un sencillo paseo, muy popular, hasta la Virgen de la Nieves, ascenso al pico Veleta (3396 m), Mulhacén (3482 m) para lo que habría que hacer noche en refugio, Laguna de las Lleguas, vereda de la Estrella en Güejar Sierra, etc.

Como actividades a realizar podemos destacar el senderismo, trekking, escalada, parapente (en Cenes de la Vega y Güejar Sierra, bicicleta de montaña (se puede subir con la bicicleta en los remontes), astroturismo visitando el radiotelescopio, piscina climatizada.

Granada está a 30 minutos en coche, donde resulta imprescindible visitar la Alhambra, el barrio del Albaícin, mirador de San Nicolás, catedral, etc, además de su ambiente gastronómico (tapas) y cultural. La llamada costa Tropical (Motril, Almuñécar Salobreña, etc), quedan a una hora. También tenemos cerca la Alpujarra granadina, uno de los destinos más auténticos de Andalucía, donde podemos admirar su arquitectura tradicional protegida a nivel regional.

The studio is in an excellent location, in the mid-lower area of the Sierra Nevada ski resort, just a five-minute walk from Pradollano square, which is the main hub of the resort. There you’ll find restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, and ski lifts that take you to explore the Sierra, operating both during the ski season and in summer.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Road access is convenient, with easy parking nearby. Around the area, there are countless hiking trails starting right from the resort, taking the lift, car, or shuttle from Hoya de la Mora, allowing you to discover Sierra Nevada National Park. You can enjoy simple walks, such as the popular route to Virgen de la Nieves, or more challenging hikes like ascending Pico Veleta (3396 m) and Mulhacén (3482 m), for which an overnight stay in a refuge is needed. Other routes include Laguna de las Yeguas and the Vereda de la Estrella in Güéjar Sierra.
Activities to do here include hiking, trekking, climbing, paragliding (in Cenes de la Vega and Güéjar Sierra), mountain biking (you can take your bike on the lifts), astrotourism by visiting the radio telescope, and swimming in the heated pool.
Granada is just a 30-minute drive away, where it’s a must to visit the Alhambra, the Albaicín district, the San Nicolás viewpoint, and the cathedral, along with enjoying its vibrant food scene (tapas) and cultural life. The so-called Costa Tropical (Motril, Almuñécar, Salobreña, etc.) is about an hour away. Nearby is also the Granada Alpujarra, one of the most authentic destinations in Andalusia, where you can admire its traditional architecture protected at a regional level.
