Peaceful house - Sunny city
Our house in situated in a small city called "Manosque". We are in a countryside place very calm. Manosque is sunny every days during the Summer but not too hot. The sunlight is amazing and lot of painters like Paul Cézanne appreciated these lights.
We live in a house with one floor. At the ground floor there is a kitchen with an big living room, one WC and an access to our garage where you could find washing facilities.
On the floor : 3 bedrooms ( 2 double bed, 1 single bed + 1 single kid bed), a bathroom and a WC.
We have a garden with a terrace, a small swimming pool for kids and we have a barbeque / grill :-)
At ten minutes of Manosque by car there is the famous Valensole plateau and the lavender fields all around. In this place you will find also honey producer to test several food products.
Keep going in the national park of the Verdon you will find the marvelous Gorges du Verdon with the biggest Europe canyon. You will discover "Moustiers St Marie" village and its earthenware know-how.
You could enjoy the Nature (small walks or hiking) in Luberon park and Esparron lake to refresh during hot Summer (35 minutes by car).
In Manosque there is also "Les Vannades" which is lake equipped for have a good time with family (lake, pic nic area, games for young children and treetop adventure course).
On Saturday in Manosque you can visit the historic center and buy some regional products to the local market (food and clothes) located on 3 places where you will find small producers of local foods and organic foods too.
Only in Manosque you could visit the company l’Occitane, a very famous Cosmetics brand which was created 40 years ago in Manosque. If you want to discover the factory you can book the visit tour and finish with the factory shop to bring back souvenirs of Provence.
If you prefer discover big cities you can also visit Aix en Provence or Marseille ( 35 minutes / 60 minutes by highway). You can also spend a day to enjoy the beaches and swim in the Mediterranean sea (1 hour).

About the neighborhood
To come in Manosque you could take a plane. From the airport you could pick up our car or if you prefer tthere is a bus which could bring you back to Manosque station in 1 hour.
In Manosque you could travel in the city with Free bus and we lend you 2 bicycles + our car Peugeot 2008.
In our region you could do discover lot of things : our house is well located between Sea and Mountains ! We will provide you a folder where you could have all information you need : place to go, time to go by car, free entrance or price for each things.
Big cities like Aix en Provence, Marseille, Avignon are well connected by car, train or buses.
For instance in Aix en Provence : you could visit lot of museum of arts (Pavillon Vendôme, musée Granet, fondation Vasarely). Marseille : by boat see the Calanques or Museum called MUCEM.

Erittäin mukava perhe ja koti vastasi hyvin esittelyä. Oli mukava tavata ihan livenäkin, kun lennot osuivat sopivasti
Prettig contact. Veel contact via Whatsapp, ook videobellen. Hun huis was schoon en gastvrij, met handdoeken, beddengoed en eten voor een eerste dag. Hun huis is juist weergegeven.
Guillaume and Virginie were very nice and accommodating. Their home was clean and comfortable. We spoke a number of times leading up to the exchange, and they made sure to have everything we would need on hand. They even put in an extra effort to arrange a tour for us and plan an evening dining with their friends. The family took great care of our home and left everything as it should be.

We are a couple with 2 kids (10 years old our boy and 3 years old our girl)
We are quiet person. We love simple things.
Guillaume loves Sports : running, swimming and cycling. From our house you could do lot of Sports. He also do loves practice English so do not hesitate to contact us !
Virginie loves travel in foreign countries to discover and to speak with foreign people, I like modern arts and to do cooking.
Martin, our son is very sportive and loves playing outdoor : foot, basketball, swimming, bike....
Valentine, our daughter likes play with her brother and "read" books.
