1 minute from the beach. Good location to combine visits to Barcelona with perfect holidays on the beach.
Sant Pol is a nice and quiet beach town, very well connected to Barcelona.
There are good restaurants, of different categories; La Cuina de Sant Pau of the famous Ruscalleda familly and also some fish bars located in the bech.
Good local shopping: nearby supermarket, butchher, fish, and bakery.
Trains to Barcelona every 20-30 minutes (trip 60 minutes).
Girona is a monumental city, also connected by train (70 minutes).
There are also public bus service to Barcelona airport to T1 and T2 (65 minutes).

We are a 50 years old couple of graphic designer and art teacher, living by the sea.
I started going on exchange holidays in 1991, with my family, with Intervac.
We've swapped with families from Oxford, Paris, Amsterdam, Ireland, New York, and Saint Petersburg and the north of Italy.
Elisa also made an hospitality exchage for 3 months in Japan in the year 2000.
Maybe because we don't own a car, we have become quite keen on bike touring and trekking.
And we also have a cat, Rita. She is 10 years old, and she's an adopted cat. She is very quiet and friendly, but needs playing with you 10 minutes a day. If you play more than that, she will fall in love with you. Maybe because she has been abandoned a few times, she gets very anxious when she is more than 24h alone.
