Our charming redbrick townhouse, built in 1908 is located in the heart of old Malmö that is now its multicultural pulsing center with many restaurants and cafés, parks (Pildammsparken, Folkets park to mention a few - Malmö is called the city of parks) and cultural activity. The close by Möllevångstorget has a daily farmers market and surrounding the square are shops and restaurants from all over the world. Malmö has historically transformed itself from an industrial into a modern city and is becoming renowned for its architecture and a young population that is putting Malmö on the map in a range of areas from the gaming industry to music production and independent theater and more. Malmö is a very bike-friendly city and we offer our guests to borrow both our bikes and the trailer for the kids. The ocean is only a short (4,5 km) bike ride away and is well visited during summer time. The over 20 theme playgrounds have impressed our international friends during their visits.

Only 1,5 km from our house is the train station which connects you to many locations - directly to Copenhagen central in 35 minutes (20 mins to Copenhagen airport) if you want the pulsing life of a wonderful large city with lots of great culture food, music (from opera to jazz and more, many music festivals in the parks), tivoli and architecture. You can also reach Lund, a wonderful small and old city with a very large well-redeemed university and an impressive cathedral. Or Ystad, a picturesque old "hanse-city". You also have nature around the corner, either the peninsula in the south - Skanör and Falsterbo with wonderful white sandy beaches, Ven, a tiny island that is great for biking tours or the entire Österlen area which is one of the favorite holiday areas for Swedes. Beautiful countryside and charming little cities such as Simrishamn and Kivik. We offer our car (Seat Alhambra, 7 seats 2010 years' model).

We are a family of five -Sonja 7 years and Greta 5 years, and little brother Axel 3 years. Stefan is working as a music teacher teaching the violin and Sofia has switched her career as an academic researcher into working as a scientific advisor in a pharma company. We love to travel and have many international friends after having lived abroad (New York, Germany, Australia) and we find it so rewarding staying in a home than hotels.

The kids make sure our home has all the little ones need such as a trampoline in the garden in summer times, toys, bikes and more. The house has four bedrooms, three small for smaller children, one for parents with a double bed and in addition a loft with a comfortable sofa bed with space for extra mattresses.

We are easy to reach being just 1,5 km from the train stop from where you go to Copenhagen airport in 20 mins.
