Old charming house at countryside close to excellent beaches.

Welcome to our old holiday-house in the southern part of Langeland. Besides the house there is a barrack and a nice old garden in three levels. The house is 2 km's from the two very fine beaches "Hesselbjerg Strand" og "Ristinge Strand" to which you can also ride by the bicycles we have in the barrack. In our garden you can hear the cows from the neighbour's farm and also the two roosters crowing during the day. There is a piano in the house.
Both house and barrack is under a continued refurbishment so it is not a top-modern place, but rather an old nice place to relax and experience the beaches and the nature of Langeland around you. One of the latest things we have build is a new wall in the corner of the garden to shield from the road outside. It has added a 'new' place to the garden, and you can see it at some of the pictures.

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Kastrup, Copenhagen - 190 km

There are lots of protected landscape areas at the southern part of Langeland with a beautiful nature and also some traditional farming. Depending on the time of year, some farming-related traffic is present too, but in some sense the Island is a ' hidden treasure' with small impact from the stressed society in other parts of the country.
As placed in one of the most southern parts of Denmark, the weather in Hesselbjerg and Ristinge very often tends to be warmer and more sunny than in the rest of the country.
From Ristinge Klint's 30 meters above the sea you can have a 360 degrees view to Rudkøbing, Bagekop and the island of Ærø, or have an excellent walking trip with the waters at each side.
At Dovns Klint you will be able to experience the wild horses who lives there.
