Traditional and cosy old timber house with a small garden

Our house is a three storey timberhouse, built in 1926, total 144 sqm. On the main floor, there is a kitchen, 2 living rooms and bathroom, 3 bedrooms on the third floor. There is sleeping space for five person, two double beds (140 cm) and one single. In the basement there is a small bathroom, storage and a washing room.
At the back is a small private garden. The house is located right by the stream in the old center of Hafnarfjörður which is a small town only 11 km from the center of Reykjavík, in a very short distance from the bus station (direct line to Reykjavík).
We also have two cats that needs to be taken care of.

In just few minutes walking distance there is the center, with restaurants and shops, the harbor, with a nice walking path, and a
small botanical garden (Hellisgerði).

Only 10-15 minutes away by car, you can easily get into the nature, go horse riding, hiking and enjoy the area around Hafnarfjörður.
There are three swimming pools in Hafnarfjörður, two of them in a good walking distance from our home.
Or take the bus to visit Reykjavík.
