Cozy 4-room flat in Friedrichshain

Our flat (92 sqm) is located on the 3rd floor of a new building constructed in 2016. We have a large eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms with desks and a children's room with a loft bed. We live in an area called Samariterkiez in Friedrichshain, a quiet residential area with many families and good restaurants. It takes 9 minutes by the metro to Alexanderplatz. In summer you can enjoy the evening sun from our 7 sqm balcony. In Berlin you don't need a car, public transport is quicker and easier to get to everywhere.

We are a German-Austrian couple with a 11 year old daughter. Antje is a graphic designer, Istvan an author, curator and filmmaker.

Also, our hamster Coco is part of the family, and we would be very happy if our exchange partner could take care of him. If that’s not possible, we can arrange for him to stay somewhere else during the exchange.

Currently looking for an exchange during Autumn holidays 2025. A city trip would be nice but we are open to any offers.

José and his family were excellent hosts. Communication was always open, clear, and honest, which made everything so easy. The home was exactly as described, and the terrace and the view even more beautiful than on the pictures. Everything was well-maintained, and the pool was a real highlight. We had an amazing time!
