Lancaster is a small, historic city with a castle, museums and a beautiful park. There is a good supermarket about 10 minutes walk away.
From Lancaster to you easily visit larger cities such as Manchester or Liverpool or if you prefer walk in the surrounding countryside. There are several areas of outstanding beauty within driving distance or you can cycle along the canal, river or to the coast.
It is a pleasant walk to the centre of town, (about 30 minutes) especially if you stroll along the canal and we are also on a bus route. The main London to Edinburgh or Glasgow train line runs through Lancaster.
We have a black cat called Jasper who is very friendly. He has a cat flap so he can come and go as he pleases but he will need feeding. We are happy to look after your pets.
Our house has 3 double bedrooms, modern amenities and two adult bicycles. Car exchange is possible.
Having exchanged houses many times we shall consider any area we haven't visited and we especially enjoy France and the USA.
