House in Växjö, Sweden

We live in a quiet and cosy house with open environments and playground around the corner.
Växjö is a small town in the middle of Smaland. Växjö municipality has about 83 000 inhabitants, town Växjö approximately 60 000.

There are a lot of lakes around the town, beautiful nature and only 130 km to Astrid Lindgren´s world.
If you are interested in glass and furniture design there is a lot of shops and museums in the area. In Växjö is also the Emigrants house telling the stories about how the poor people in Småland left their homeland to find their happiness in other continents.

In our house live Paula, Hans-Erik, Hedda (12) and Boel (10). Paula is a producer of a a local opera house and also musician, playing the viola. Hans-Erik (called Holger) is teaching music in theory and arranging at the Linnaeus University. Hedda likes to paint, design clothes and play Sims. Boel is very fond of animals, likes dancing and plays the cello. Our house is situated only 7 minutes by car from the city and you can also use the local buses. We have a various of bicycles, from small to big. We have no pets, Paula is allergic, but we gladly look after your pet if it is an outdoor pet.

There are excellent train connections from Växjö to Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup). It takes only 2,15 hours by train.
Växjö is perfect situated if you would like to get to know Sweden. The beautiful nature is typical Swedish and you can go on elk safaris and enjoy the many lakes. Thanks to "The right of Public Access" you can bath in every lake and walk in every forest. It is not far to go to Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. You can also reach Kalmar, which is a lovely village and Öland, an exciting island with a special fauna.
