St Augustine, Florida Intra coastal water view home

St. Augustine is a city on the northeast coast of Florida. It lays claim to being the oldest city in the U.S., and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlantic Ocean beaches like sandy St. Augustine Beach and tranquil Crescent Beach. Anastasia State Park is a protected wildlife sanctuary. The Castillo de San Marcos is a 17th-century Spanish stone fortress with views of the St. Augustine Inlet.
Our home is only ten minute car ride from the beautiful white sand beaches of St Augustine beach and also 10 minute ride from the historic area. The house has stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway and we think the best location in St Augustine. This wonderful neighborhood is great for long walks or biking along the water. Four bicycles are included for use during your stay . Enjoy the endless breeze while taking in the vibrant sunrises and sunsets. If you bring your own boat there are two boat ramps in this neighborhood. Just two blocks away there's a charming park where you can cast your fishing line into the Matanzas River.
Just as magnificent as the views is the level of comfort you will find upon entering our home. The living room fills with natural morning sunlight. From either the comfort of the living room or from the master bedroom you can enjoy the beautiful water views.

The house also offers a fully fenced in back yard with a brand new wrap around deck with a hammock, a outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the Beach or sun bathing, and a charcoal grill. Enjoy over 500 square feet (48 sq meters) of outdoor living area that includes a front patio as well. Enjoy your meals outside on the teak table that comfortably fits four chairs.

The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The master bedroom offers a sitting area with a very comfortable brand new memory foam Tempur-Pedic mattress . The second bedroom has a beautiful solid wood slay bed with a brand new memory foam Tempur-Pedic mattress.  Just outside the bedrooms is a common bathroom that offers a large jacuzzi tub.

We are less than two hours from Disney world, Epcot, Universal Studios, MGM and all other Orlando, FL amusement and water parks. Great outlet shopping in St Augustine and Orlando as well.

About Our Family

We are both retired and love to travel. We have been married for 42 years and ready to enjoy our golden years. We have a son, Robert, that is 31 and a daughter, Brittany who is 27 they are both single and can sometimes travel with us or on their own.
Luz and Chris have done one non simultaneous exchange. Robert recently had a wonderful first exchange with a lovely family from Stockholm.

Lifestyle

We are both retired in our sixties wishing to continue traveling and experiencing new cultures. I was in the travel business for 30 years and therefore we were fortunate to be able to experience many countries worldwide so now that we have lots of time we want to experience home exchange to get a better feel of the culture and at the same time offering our home so that you can experience the oldest city in the USA.
