1 story house in Tucson, USA

We are both retired and are available for exchanges for 2-4 weeks at various times of the year. We are now planning for exchanges in 2013 and 2014.
Our home is on the outskirts of SE Tucson in a friendly neighborhood of about 200 homes (Austin Point), within walking distance of a pharmacy / convenience store, and less than 2 miles from a variety of shopping malls with large grocery stores.  Our home is about 1960 sq ft (about 180 sq m.), with 2 car garage (car exchange included), a small backyard with a covered patio, two orange trees and an in-ground pool.  An open living room - dining room is at the front of the house, but most of our time is spent in the kitchen / family room in the rear where we have a panoramic view of the Catalina mountains (we are up on a ridge, about 30 feet above the neighbors behind us).   A large master bedroom has a queen bed, and the guest room features a very comfortable queen sleeper sofa with air mattress.  The third bedroom is used as a computer room / office.  We have two 2009 Honda Fits - both with automatic transmission and air conditioning.
You can see our climate information at http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/twc/climate/tus.php but in general we have comfortable to warm temperatures and clear skies mid-September through June.  July and August see late afternoon/evening brief thunderstorms with often spectacular lightning displays over the mountains.  Our backyard pool is solar heated, so the swimming season extends from April until late October with summer pool temperatures 25 to 32 C. We did have some very light snow overnight last January, but it melted by mid-afternoon.
You can read a summary of Tucson facts at www.usacitiesonline.com/azcountytucson.htm - tourist attractions include one of the world's largest dry caves ( www.colossalcave.com), the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (http://www.desertmuseum.org/ ), Mt. Lemmon (http://emol.org/tour/mtlemmon.html - even has skiing in the winter), and Biosphere 2 ( http://www.b2science.org/).  Our home is about 3 miles from Saguaro National Park ( www.nps.gov/sagu/) and about fourteen miles from Colossal Cave.  Bicycling enthusiasts abound, and we have two local gambling casinos with well known visiting entertainers.   We have many fine restaurants in the area.  Tucson is well known for its many fabulous (and expensive!) resorts ( www.canyonranch.com/ - $1000/day and up!), but many of their excellent restaurants are open and affordable, if pricey.
Tucson is located within driving distance of many other places of interest.  Amateur astronomers will want to drive 2 hours to Kitt Peak, America's national astronomical observatory ( www.noao.edu/kpno/).  Rocky Point, Mexico is a wonderful beach resort - about a 4 hour drive (see http://www.puerto-penasco.com/).  You can visit the cemetery at Boot Hill and see where the gunfight at the OK Corral occurred in Tombstone, about an hour's drive from here. On the way back stop at Kartchner Caverns, discovered just 30 years ago - http://azstateparks.com/Parks/KACA/index.html.   Phoenix is a two hour drive, Sedona is a four-five hour drive (www.visitsedona.com/) and the Grand Canyon is about 6+ hours from here.   Las Vegas is an 8+ hour drive, but only an hour's flight from Tucson (many inexpensive casino / flight packages are available).  San Diego is one day's drive away as well.
