We have found our exchange for the sumer 2024!
Our house is built 1972 and totally renovated in 2007.
In our garden is an outsite hot tub that we use all year round. We enjoy soaking in the hot tub after dark and watching the stars.
We have two dog and pet care is optional for you but we would still love to take care of your pets.
We recommend having a car visiting Iceland, expecially if you want to see some places outside of the city (Golden circel for example). We would be willing to exchange cars and have Hyundai i30, automatic. Also we have an old Landrover defender (21 years old with 4 seats) for those who want to try :)

Gardabær is an town with 19.000 inhabitants. It´s a part of the graeter Reykjavik area where the majorety of the Icelanders live. From our house is a short drive to downtown Reykjavik as well as out in nature area Heiðmörk wich surounds the capitol area. In a walking distance is an outdoor swimmingpool as well as supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants and icecreams shops.

We are non-smokers.
Livsstil
We are a combined family of 6 with diverse interests. Sverrir (dad) likes hiking, dogs, motocross, biking, cooking and fixing. Vala (26) is an university student and is interested in drama (theatre). Stefán (17) practices motocross and is in highschool. Thorhildur (mom) likes hiking, garden and nature as well as good music. Thorey Anna (20) plays the guitar and listens to all kinds of music and Margret Lea (15) is the youngest and loves playing basket ball and watching Stranger Things.
