Modern house close to Stockholm city in a quiet neighbourhood
Large house (200 sqm) in a rural area 40 km from Stockholm city with rural environment with scenic views. We live in a small friendly neigbourhood with about 10 houses, where children can play freely. Close to world heritage Drottingholms castle were the royal family lives and Birka, were the old viking capital is situated. A private pool and acess to several local beaches in the lake of Mälaren, golf courses, horse riding (one of our neighbors) and many other activities. The house is buildt 2010 with three bredrooms, one on the ground floor and two upstairs. Large social areas and two bathrooms. Plenty of outside space. Car is necessary and we have a Nissan Quashqai. Two bicyles available. Free Internet connection with Wifi access. (Special note: no pets exchange).

The area we are living in is very close to Stockholm city and at the same time very rural with pastures and open terrain. Easy access to forrest walks and tracks for jogging. One neighbor have horses and possibilty for riding. A golf course Troxhammars GK is situated just 10 km away. Access to food shoping is 4-5 km away.

Familepresentasjonstekst
We are a family of two, Lars-Åke and Anne-Marie, with two grown up children who has moved. We live in a house in Ekerö, 40 km outside the city centre of Stockholm. We have been members in Intervac when our children were small but are now entering again. We have made three exchanges before, two in Denmark and one in France.
Livsstil
We have been former members of Intervac and made three exchanges in the past. Intervac gives us a fantastic chance to discover other countries compared to regular touristing, as we get in better contact with the area we are visiting.
We are a retired couple who likes to go walking and trekking in new environments. Intervac offers us a unique opportunity to meet other people, to feed our curiosity the countries we are visiting. We generally try to travel extensively in the region of our guests, not only the close surroundings (when a car exchange is not possible, we generally try to rent a car).
