My apartment is located in a suburb, between the historic center and the ancient cathedral of Classe. A bike path connects my neighborhood to the city, which is also easily accessible by bus (5 minutes). My apartment is also well positioned for reaching the tourist resorts of the coast (10 minutes from my house) and the large playground of Mirabilandia (10 minutes from my house). My city, famous in the world for its splendid byzantine churches and for the ancient mausoleum of Theodoric, is also an excellent starting point to reach Ferrara (65 km), Venice (143 km), Bologna (80 km) and Florence (180 km).

About the neighborhood
My neighbourhood, situated a few kilometres from Ravenna’s historic centre, is quiet and well connected by bus route 4. Two kilometres away, easily reached by bike, is the beautiful Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe. Ten kilometres from my home is Lido di Classe, a seaside resort where nudism is permitted. The neighbourhood has shops and small supermarkets.

My name is Andrea, I am a university professor of history.
I am separated, but I often travel with one or two of my children.
My flat, located in Ravenna, is small but tidy. One of the advantages of the exchange is that, during the exchanges, my flat's guests are pampered by my parents - Carlo and Maria - who, although they don't speak a word of English or French, are able to make guests feel at home (with small gestures and smiles).
