Our beach cottage is at Smith Beach on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. Smith Beach is a small eclectic beachfront community where we enjoy peaceful sunsets, walks along the sandy beach, and gazing out at the waters. A one mile road lined with unique beach houses leads to a boat ramp/dock. The area itself is isolated and remote but a short easy drive to the charming town of Cape Charles.

Familepresentasjonstekst
We are a retired couple who like traveling together. Gary is a retired psychologist who enjoys woodworking, reading, and cooking. Estelle is a retired teacher who busies herself with quilting, cooking, reading, and beekeeping. Both of us cherish every moment we spend with our grandchildren(age 5 and age 7) who live very close by.
We have made several exchanges under an expired intervac registration: Finland, Denmark, Sweden, France. We have also traveled to Germany and Australia. This year(2024) we are taking up our travels once more and are open for all destinations.
Our daughter and her family( her husband and our prized grandchildren) live close to our Blacksburg house and will be happy to help you in any way.
Livsstil
We enjoy the striking contrast between our beach (US53513) and mountain (US53506) settings. We find it a relaxing easy
5- 6 hour drive through rolling hills down to the very flat coastal plain. We can offer this to you too with an option to experience both homes.
