A cozy apartment in a quiet area of the capital area. I can accept vistors throughout the year. Right now I'm looking for an apartment in Edinburgh from September 19th-23rd (but you could visit Iceland during some other time)
A well aged floor-through apartment with a private entrance. Located in a very quiet street.
Free parking, WiFi included, kitchen and dishwasher (no laundry). The house was built in 1957 and sounds of other residents carry between floors. This is an apartment I have on airbnb.
An entire center floor of a three apartment building. By the entrance is a wardrobe with generous hanging space. Two bedrooms, each with a small double bed. The larger one as a a large drawer commode. The smaller bedroom has a small wardrobe and the bed is only accessible from one side.
The dining area is spacious and has a scenic south view. There you'll also find a small desk and office chair and a small collection of reading materials.
The living room has a generous sofa and a 55" TV. A Google TV streamer is connected to it. It has only Icelandic public TV but guests are allowed to connect their own streaming services on the obligation of signing out of them before leaving.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, induction stove, fridge and freezer. Basic cutlery and utensils are provided. The kitchen includes a counter-height table, perfect for morning coffee or quick meals. There is a coffee pod maker and an electric kettle.
Decorating the walls are paintings of Icelandic landscapes by various Icelandic artists.

Think - be good - be happy
I enjoy all sorts of movies, from american blockbusters to more obscure stuff. With books, I also try to keep it diverse. Favorites include Dune, Perfume, Hyperion, A brief history of time, 1984.
Some Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent all my money (and then some) to travel Italy without a plan for four weeks, we carried a tent and sometimes stayed at hostels too and got a chance to visit Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Naples, Pompey and the alps. Good times!
Hiked up to within 30meters of the main crater of the Geldingadalir eruption 24h after it started.
