Our house is recent built (from the year 2010).
Is in a quiet area of the town of Breda, 50 km. from Barcelona.
It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, garden and front and rear terraces.
These spaces are distributed over 2 floors:
- ground floor: living-dining room with access to the garden, kitchen with access to the garden, one bedroom, one bathroom, frontal and rear terraces, garage and garden.
- first floor: 2 bedrooms (one with access to a balcony), 1 bathroom and the studio.
The house has conditioning air and many amenities.
It has views of the mountain and the town of Breda.
The mountain is very close and is ideal for short, medium and long hiking and biking routes. For example, the castle of Montsoriu is reached with a 2-hour walk.
The house has 3 double beds in three diferents rooms.
It also has TV, high-speed Internet and, at the kitchen, glass ceramic and oven.

About the neighborhood
Our home is placed in the town of Breda, at 5 minutes walk from the town center. Breda is a Catalan municipality in La Selva region, province of Girona.
The house is very close to all services: various supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacy, vegetable and meat stores, etc.
All Sundays is held the weekly outdoor market.
Very close of our house of the health center, library and sports area, with swimming pool.
One of the special features of Breda is known for ceramics and there are several shops in the village.
Breda is very well communicated. In addition to having the road and motorway nearby, there are bus service (http://www.atmgirona.cat/upload/doc/linies/hjoIBjsFVk.pdf), and train at the "Riells i Viabrea-Breda" station (this station is walking by the greenway).
Breda is a historical municipality of medieval origin, although much of its heritage has been lost, are still preserved the Monastery of Sant Salvador (from the 11th century), and the Church of Santa María, in Romanesque style.
Anothers interesting places in Breda are Els Forns cultural center (about the culture of ceramics), the Hermitage of Santa Anna, the Josep Aragay museum And the Patio of the Abbey, among other places.
Near this municipality there are Riells i Viabrea, Hostalric, Massanes, Sant Feliu de Buixalleu or Gualba.
In 15 minutes is a important center, Sant Celoni, which has all kinds of services and shops.
Other places of interest are the beaches of the Costa Brava (Blanes is only 30 minutes away by car), the monumental city of Girona (40 minutes from Breda) or Barcelona (it's less than 1 hour from our house).
Breda is an ideal place for lovers of walks. The position of the city (between the Montnegre and Montseny mountains), allows multiple excursions and short, medium and long hiking and biking routes.
One of the most affordable and beautiful excursions is to the castle of Montsoriu, which is located 2 hours on foot from our house.
However, you can do many other excursions through the Natural Park of Montseny (the highest mountain in the center of Catalonia), such as the ascent to Turó de l'Home (the top of Montseny), or Les Agudes and Matagalls.

The exchange was perfect! Roser and Armand are very nice, the communication went very well. We enjoyed a lot their beautiful house. There are many things to do in the area. We highly recommend!
The Lambert family have been very communicative at all times, facilitating any possible difficulties. They have a very well equipped and spacious house. The town where it is located is well connected if you want to visit Lyon, also with access to get to know the surrounding area well which is very interesting.
We had a very good experience with this family. We were able to stay both in their house in Oslo and in their cabin near Lillehammer which is a treasure. Bjorn and Torill are a lovely couple with whom we had the opportunity to spend a few days. We had lovely conversations with them. We had a health problem and they made our stay in Norway much easier.
Vi hadde et utmerket samarbeid med familien vi byttet med. Vi bodde i deres feriehus og lånte deres bil, og de bodde i huset vårt og lånte vår bil. Av ulike grunner ble det ikke samtidig boligbytte, men alt fungerte bra, og vi kan absolutt anbefale å bytte med dem.
