single-storey house with a privalte pool
Our house is located five minutes from downtown in a residential area. We are well served by urban transport, shops, health services. The environment is quiet and conducive to relaxation. You can use the barbecue and dine in the garden in the shame of olive trees or on the terrasse or swimming in the pool.
Our house has 3 bedrooms with double beds, also a single bed in the mezzanine. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are very sunny south facing. They open into a large covered terrace. The bathroom is modern with an italian shower.
Located not very far the Mediterranean sea, Nîmes city has a population of 150000 inhabitants. Of the Roman period, Nîmes preserves outstanding monuments such as the Arenas, the Maison carrée or the Tourmagne.
The area has a mild climate but retains high temperatures during summer. This is a famous wine producting area.
You can quickly going to Montpellier (40 minutes by car) or Marseille (1 hour).
Paris is only 3 hours by train from Nîmes.

We live in a quiet away from the noise of the city place but we are also close to the city center well served by urban transport.
No very far you can found a shopping center with a variety of shops and services.
We are 50 km from Montpellier and Avignon; 100 km of the Cevennes mountains and 100 km of Marseille. Arles and Provence area are to 40 km. Beach and Mediterranean sea are also to 40 km.

Ron et Kathy sont de charmantes personnes avec qui l'échange fut facile. La maison est confortable, conforme à l'annonce, située dans un beau quartier pas très loin du coeur de Calgary. C'est surtout un bel emplacement pour partir à la découverte des Rocheuses et des nombreux parcs naturels des alentours. Un bon échange pour des vacances inoubliables.

Maryse and Bernard's home in Nimes was a great place to stay and explore the area. The house is large and comfortable and the property is beautiful. It is close to shops and the bus line and easy to get in and out of if you want to go further afield. Everything was set up for us when we arrived and the instructions provided were accurate and clear. When we had questions they were quickly answered. Nimes is a beautiful historic town with lots to see and do. We especially liked the pool on hot days and the introduction to neighbours. We returned home to a clean house and a happy kitty.
