Ainsi, nous ne sommes pas allés en Allemagne, mais l'Allemagne est venue à nous. Susanne et Günter ont été très aimables et très flexibles. Nous avons échangé nettement plus que si nous avions réalisé un échange normal, où nous nous voyons habituellement beaucoup moins longtemps. Nous avons plusieurs fois cuisiné un souper chacun notre tour, ce qui nous a permis d'échanger des recettes et façons de faire différentes. Globalement ce fut très agréables. Nous espérons les revoir, si ça peut devenir possible.
Thus, we did not go to Germany, but Germany came to us. Susanne and Günter were very open-minded and flexible. We exchanged a lot on everything, much more than during a regular exchange, where we do not meet people very long. We often cooked supper (dinner), taking turns. So we ended up exchanging recipes and ways to do things. Globally, our exchange was great. We hope to see them again if that becomes posssible.
