We are flexibel in dates. In Spring we would love to go to Taragona, for about 2 weeks. In the summer we would love to go for 2 á 3 weeks. We are open to all offers. |

We are retired and our home offers a lot of comfort. Our car is a Toyota Auris hybride. (automatic)
We like to make several short and longer exchanges through the year.
We do have a small garden surrounded by a wall. Several nice playground/parks are very near. (see map)
Castricum is a beautifull quiet village with good public transport. Easy to reach by train from the airports.
The beach is close by , less than 5 km. You can go by car. We prefer to go by bike.
Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are some of the many very beautifull old cities.

Nærmeste flyplass: Amsterdam airport Schiphol, this is also an interesting place to visit on a daytrip. - 35 km
We live in a nice and quiet village near the sea, with dunes and a nice beach.
There are lots of lakes and bicycle roads.
And the area is famous for all sorts of beautifull birds.
Castricum has good public transport. Trains a least 4 times an hour to the nearby cities.
Especially to go to Amsterdam and Haarlem, where parking is expensive.
Haarlem and Alkmaar are very nice cities for shopping. Edam is worth a visit too.
We do have beautifull villages (Graft en De Rijp for example), rivers and lakes and a very wide beach.
In sprintime there a very beautifull fields near with tulips etc. "The Keukenhof" is world famous for it: www.keukenhof.nl
There are lots of beautifull old cities, large and small in our region, with musea,
markets, botanical gardens, playgrounds, cinema's , restaurants etc etc.
Easy to reach bij train are also: Enkhuizen, Hoorn, Delft, Gouda, Rotterdam
(Sugg. always take a boattrip and see the cities in a very beautifull way).

We are a retired couple.
Our children:
Maarten (1979) lives with his wife Kelly and their daughter Lana (10) in Castricum
They will be glad to help you, if needed.
Our son Jesse (1981) lives with Anna in Hilversum and they have a son Elliot (7) in Hilversum.
Our daughter Anke (1983) lives also in Castricum, she is willing to help if needed.
Livsstil
We love to be outside and hike, we also love to visit old towns and musea, but are also fond of swimming in the sea and natural ponds.
In the summer 2023 we have been to Austria and had a fantastic exchange.(AT 11045) In 2024 we exchanged with a family in Germany,( DE 1008997) and our exchange partner, went sailing with our brother-in-law living at the island Texel at the Wadden sea.
Next year we would love to exchange Espagne in spring, and to Sweden, Norway or any other beautifull country.
We are open to all offers in Europe or the U.K. We offer a Toyota Auris Hybride.
We ourselves are fully vaccinated.
A car-exchange might be possible.
