Roof top apartment in Central Stockholm
Wonderful roof top apartment in central Stockholm, Södermalm.
Wonderful views in every direction. 2 bedrooms (Master bedroom +1) and a living room with a balcony.
2 bathrooms: a small extra bathroom with toilet and zink, and a big bathroom with a washing machine.
There is two additional laundry rooms in the basement of the house.
During summer mornings we eat our breakfast on the balcony that is situated southward.
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator and freezer and a dish washing machine. No microwave oven.
We are sorry to say the apartment is not suitable for small children or disabled people. There is a small elevator and lot of stairs.

About the neighborhood
This is a beautiful part of Stockholm City, with parks and a great deal of recreation areas.
There are boats and big pleasure cruisers to Finland traveling outside the windows, and if you like a tour on the water yourself you can easily go to the nearby harbour to go by boat to the city instead of by bus or taking a walk.
You can rent a boat and take excursions by the sea if you know how to read a sea chart. It is necessary that you have that knowledge before you try cruising the archipelago by yourself.
If you want to go swimming during summertime there are several ways to do that nearby - a very special experience, swimming in the middle of a city!
It is lovely all around the year, and very close to everything.
There is lot of nice restaurants and cafés nearby, since Södermalm is in the centre of Stockholm.
There are plenty of wonderful walks, where you can choose between walking close to water or into the city. The walk in to the city will take you approximately 20 minutes.
If you rather travel by bus it will take you about 15 minutes the Central Station that is right in the middle of the city.

Artistic family with 20 years experience in Intervac exchnge
Nowadays there is just Marie and Roger travelling
Roger, jazzmusician, and percussionist at the Royal Opera of Stockholm and Marie, director in theatre and opera, now retired.
During these 20 years we have done about 10 exchanges, and we find the Intervac system very friendly, caring and nice. "We like to take care of your apartment/house in the same loving way as we expect you to take care of ours" - a wonderful thought.
We are longing for a summerexchange in mid june, preferebly, with lots of nice scenery and exiting excursions along beachside. We are planning to go around by car and the exchange home will be our base.
Our main interest this june 2026 is Cornwall area - if possible.
