Pictures show the inside of our home, the garden and views from the home and garden. The house is located beside the sea, and adjacent to the Burren region of Clare and the ever popular Galway city is only 15km away. House located in the beautiful fishing village of The Weir, Kilcolgan 100m from famous Moran's Oyster Cottage restaurant and bar.
The house is modern with all conveniences. It is on a one acre site, overlooking the sea to one side ( the Atlantic ocean) and the river and an old castle to the other side.
Galway City is 15km away, and is Ireland's most popular tourist destination. It has many festivals throughout the year. It is 50km to Shannon airport, 2 hrs to Dublin and Galway airport is 10 km away.
Bicycles are also available for adults and children.
The nearest village is Kilcolgan, 1km away. The famous oyster village of Clarinbridge is 2km away, with some great local cuisine.
Public transport is easily accessible.
We are open to all offers for Summer 2021.
We are also interested in long weekends or short breaks around Europe throughout the year..
