Cozy apartment in Copenhagen, Denmark
Our home is situated 6.5 km from Copenhagen Town Hall Square.
The apartment is 90 square metres and situated on the 3rd floor in a city block from the fourties. Next to the living room we have a balcony, where there is room for 2 chairs.
We have a bed room with a bed size 1.4 x 2 metres. The bathroom is newly renovated.
Our fapartment is a non smokers home, but you can use the balcony for smoking.
Public transportion is relatively simple. Within 1.5 km there are 3 S-train stations and 1 Metro station. Apart from this there are 2 different bus routes close to our home. It takes about half an hour from our home to Central Copenhagen.
We are 2 adults, both social educators, Marianne aged 59 and Erik aged 71. We have 16 former home exchange experiences and we are therefore used to take care of others home.

About the neighborhood
We live in a building with only 25 apartments, so we know many of our neighbors. The property has a small garden where you can sit and relax.
The balcony is not large, but it faces southwest, so you can sit and enjoy the summer.
The apartment is located in a quiet area where you can hardly hear the traffic.

Toutes les pièces n'étaient pas présentées dans l'annonce; elles étaient mal rangées et non accessibles; l'appartement manquait un peu de confort et aurait pu être plus propre. Les gens étaient sympathiques et accueillants mais n'ont pas tout a fait respecté notre entente d'échange par rapport à l'utilisation de la voiture et ont endommagé un peu l'appartement (robinet cassé, verre cassé, mauvaise utilisation d'un appareil.
Marianne et son compagnon ont eu la gentillesse de venir me chercher à l'aéroport , puis de me montrer leur appartement et son fonctionnement. Au retour chez moi, tout était impeccablement propre. Je les en remercie.
Contacts et rencontre physique excellents L'appartement que nous avons occupé, bien desservi par des transports en commun, satisfaisait à nos attentes Les quelques échanges que nous avons eu pendant le séjour étaient très amicaux Nous nous sommes installés très facilement dans appartement qui nous était confié.

Couple from Copenhagen
We are a couple living in Copenhagen. By public transport you can be in city of Copenhagen in half an hour or more, depending on the mode of transport.
We are both social educators, and we got to know each other at work years ago. We have been a couple for 15 years. We have several Intervac exchange experiences and we are therefore used to take care of others home.
Erik is 71 years old and he is resently retired. He has many handyman projects. He also loves playing guitar and singing.
Marianne is 59 years old, and she is the head of after school care at a special school for children with social, cognitive and behavioral challenges. She also loves singing and she is in a gospel choir.
We both have adult children who are working, and who live with their families. They usually don’t spend their vacation with us anymore, and if they want to come by, we will ask you before.
With Intervac exchanges we have been to different places in France, Spain, Israel and Canada. The reason why we love this kind of vacation is the opportunity to meet other people, living in a private home instead of a tourist ghetto and visit places that we didn’t even think of until we had a request.
