Home in PRAGUE Czech Republic. Our house renovated a couple years ago was built in the nineteen fiftieth and has 6 floors with a lift. It is clean and well maintained. You cannot be afraid of the heat in summer as it is a brick - not a panel house and 2/3 of the house have windows to the North North - East direction. One window is to the south. So there is no need of any air conditioning.
There are three flats on our floor and the neighbours are nice and polite people. You hardly ever meet them. Our street is quiet without the noise of buses or trams right bellow the windows. However, all kinds of public transport including underground are within a five minutes' walk and so is a popular farmers' market with a lot of small cafés, wine bars and restaurants nearby. There are also three big supermarkets and a shopping mall with a cinema at the end of the street - 7mins' walk. Nevertheless, the very centre is only 2 stations by underground - 5 minutes. The same Line (A, green) takes you to the airport with one change to a bus right at the underground station. It takes you to both Terminals. Our house (as most houses nowadays) is safe, locked, you need a chip to get in.
