Elegant summer house at the seaside in la Rochelle area !
Nice summer house comfortable and cosy just near the seaside in sunny area of Charentes Maritimes
Consists of a main house ( large living room with open kitchen ground floor ) with 3 bedrooms and a large bathroom first floor and a small house in the garden with a small bedroom , a shower room with wc , and another room with 2single beds and kitchen.
The entire house + studio can sleep 10 people max.
The small town of Fouras offers 3 beaches : our house is a 10 mn walk from the city center , a 5 mn walk from North beach and casino wood , 10 mn walk to the main large beach .
Fouras faces Ile d'Oléron and Ile d'Aix , and also Fort Boyard!
We are located 5 mn drive from the pier to Ile d'Aix you can reach only by boat ( all the year)
Ile de Ré is 40 mn drive and La rochelle City 30 mn drive.
Bordeaux is 1h 30 drive.
It's paradise on earth ...

We are open to nice proposals and we will think over ! Non simultaneous swap is possible for this house. We may travel with some of our adult children or close relatives or a couple of friends ( that means 2 adult couples) No pet to take care of at this place. |

About the neighborhood
maison de vacances idéalement située près du port Nord de la jolie station balnéaire de Fouras, familiale et élégante.
A 5 mn de la plage ( au bout de la rue) à 10 mn à pied du centre ville et du marché, en face d'un bois centenaire et du casino !
Très clame, résidentiel et tranquille , ville de villégiature recherchée et parfaite pour les familles !
Près des iles d'Oléron , ile de Ré et ile d'Aix, et de fort Boyard en face de la grande plage .
Le paradis des enfants et le calme assuré pour les adultes , plage , vélo et huitres, et pineau des charentes.
Un jardin au calme sans vis à vis et une maison de vacances très agréable!
Nous adorons nous ressourcer la bas à chaque vacances!

La maison correspondait tout-à-fait à nos attentes car nous avons pu recevoir notre petite famille dans le plus grand confort. Très bonne communication avec les propriétaires. Nos relations ont été sympathiques et chaleureuses. Nous recommandons fortement cet échange.
Excellent échange, non simultané, très intéressante découverte de cette île. Le descriptif de la maison est conforme ainsi que celui des activités à faire sur l’île, la maison est très jolie, très confortable et bien décorée, très bien située, tout a été très fluide entre nous, et nous avons pu compter sur les bons plans de nos hôtes pour rendre le séjour excellent ! Il faut toutefois pouvoir marcher et monter les escaliers de la jolie ville d’Ermopouli pour en apprécier tout le charme. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil et la préparation de nos vacances.
Wonderful family (they are our friends now). Beautiful house and lovely area. The house looked exactly as expected. We have made two exchanges with them - one in their family home and later on in their summer residence.

We are now just retired and free (again) to discover new countries and new people and other ways of life in your country for example.
We may ask for travelling with some of our adult children ( young adult couples) or close relatives (sister) or best friends.
We are very fond of travelling with Intervac , a great family experience discovered 20 years ago and a perfect way to discover other countries and cultures and to keep openminded.
We had a lot of previous (and successful ) exchanges between 2004 and 2017, then we had a long stop in exchanges due to grandchildren exploring our seaside house :) and for us taking care of our old parents.
This year we are back to Intervac with great pleasure and ready to successful swaps as we experienced in the past years.
We'll take care of your home as if it were ours and make you fell comfortable to discover the french way of life.
Our main home should preferably be swapped with "experienced cat sitter" :) or cat lovers (since our cat is deaf due to an accident but very quiet and easy )
Non simultaneous exchanges are possible in our seaside home.
We are concerned with an ecological way of life, discovering other people and culture, meeting friends, discovering good food and restaurants, museums and historical places, peaceful way of life, nice surroundings to walk around and rest.
