An old renovated flat in the center of Marseille, Provence
Our flat is in Marseille downtown, in a safe and quiet neighboorhood. We can get the subway and the streetcar in a few minutes. The harbour (le vieux port) is five minutes by feet.
Our building is typical from the XIX th century. 160 m2 on one level. On the second floor with an elevator.
A large living room (60 m2) with a piano, a kitchen, three very sunny bedrooms with large beds, two small bathrooms (a bathtub and a shower) and separated toilets. We also have a laundry with a washing machine and a dryer.
The bedrooms are very quiet and the house is very cool in summer.
Marseille is a very nice city, you can go to the beach, visit the famous MUCEM and a lot of other museums, hike or climb in the Calanques or, within half an hour, have a ride to Aix en Provence or to the Saint Victoire mountain wich Cezanne painted.
You can also go to Avignon and his great Festival or to Arles, very old and very nice city.

About the neighborhood
Notre appartement est situé au centre ville. Dans les environs, vous trouvez boulangeries, alimentations, banques, restaurants...
En quelques minutes à pied, vous êtes sur le Vieux Port. En un quart d'heure à pied ou 5 minutes en tramway, vous découvrez la grande bibliothèque où vous pouvez emprunter des livres dans toutes les langues mais aussi des films et des CD.
Les Calanques et leurs multiples promenades à pied sont situées à une demi-heure.
Aix en Provence est à 30 km, c'est une très belle ville, avec ses fontaines, ses musées, ses concerts
Our flat is downtown, in the neighbourhood, you can find all main services, like as bakeries, food shops, banks, shops, restaurants...
In a few minutes, on foot, you are on the Harbour. In 15 mn on foot or 5 minutes with the tramway, you can reach the big Library where you can borrow a lot of books in many langages but also movies and music.
The "Calanques" are 30 minutes away. You can walk and hike a lot.
Aix en Provence is 30 km away. It's a very nice town with a lot of museums and music.

Lovely and spectacular apartment in center of Marseille. Great hospitality, advices, food and presents at arrival. Thank you Yanne for introducing a lovely new city in our lives.
The exchange was really cool. The house was like we expected and even better. We found a good meal, use the bikes and the shared garden and found pamphlets to discover the city. We exchanged during the stay and it was nice. Our home was perfect when we returned. We loved this exchange, thank you, Anders and Signe
Yanne's flat is very conveniently located close to the centre of Marseille. Many interesting places are in walking distance, like the port, Cours Julien (very much recommended for an aperitive or dinner), markets, etc. The apartment is huge and comfortable. Also the communication with her was very good. Very nice exchange experience.
We were a little worried not doing the right things because it was our first exchange. Elisabetta was very nice and reassured us. The house was exactly as described and so cosy. We found the house, the keys without any problem. We had very nice holydays and we are very happy to exchange this summer with an austrian family. I can't help talking about intervac with my friends and colleagues !
