The house has two bedrooms, one en suite, a kitchen/dining room, a snug/tv room, a main bathroom and a spacious south facing sun room. There is a large, secure back garden and off street parking at the front of the house. It is located in a quiet and very friendly neighbourhood just ten minutes walk to Fermoy town centre. The River Blackwater and the nearby Galtee mountains offer plenty of opportunities for walking, fishing and hiking. Canoeing is very popular on the river. Cork City is only a twenty minute drive away.

Kate war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und nett. Leider konnten wir Sie nicht persönlich treffen. Ihr Haus ist gepflegt und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten. Wir haben uns meistens in dem geschmackvollen und gemütlichen Wintergarten aufgehalten. Wir hatten ausreichend Infomaterial zur Verfügung. Fermoy bietet sich als Standpunkt an, um den Süden Irlands zu erkunden. Wir genossen einen 4 wöchigen exzellenten Urlaub. Wir können einen Haustausch mit Kate uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Kate and Joe are wonderful home exchange partners who have become dear friends and in fact chosen family. This was our second exchange with them and it was as fabulous as our first. Kate and Joe are genuine, kind, enthusiastic people who live life fully and care for others with their full hearts. They cared for my home as if it were their own and welcomed me to feel entirely at home in theirs. I would without a nanosecond of hesitation recommend them to our fellow Intervac members as home exchange partners.
