Modern house in the historic city of Delft
Our house is a modern and comfortable house, situated in the Buitenhof district in Delft. Our house has a balcony and a garden. Green areas nearby and the historic city center of Delft can be reached within 10 minutes by bike. Public transport close by. Our house is small, but efficiently arranged and has four small bedrooms. We have two kitchens and living rooms. The bedrooms vary in size from 4 to 9 m2. On the balcony you can enjoy the sun in the afternoon and until sunset. Our house is the ideal base for those who want to discover the cities of Delft, Rotterdam and The Hague. Two indoor cats live in our house.
Our house is less suitable for families with small children due to the open staircases.

First floor
Kitchen and living area. Washing machine. Toilet. Bathroom with shower and washing basin. Acces to the balcony.
Second floor
Four small bedrooms. One with a double bed, three with single beds.
Garden
We share our garden with our neighbours, which makes our garden feel larger than expected for a house this size. We have a trampoline and garden furniture. Midday and evening sun in the garden.
Een knus huisje in de wijk Buitenhof in Delft. Tussen de grote flats staat ons huis met balkon en tuin. En groene park is dichtbij en met 10 min fietsen zit je in de historische binnenstad van Delft. Ons huis is klein, maar efficient ingericht met vier kleine slaapkamers. De slaapkamers varieren in grootte van 4 tot 9 m2. Op het balkon geniet je ´s middags en tot zonsondergang van de zon. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor wie de steden Delft, Rotterdam en Den Haag wilt ontdekken. Twee lieve binnenkatten wonen in ons huis.
In verband met open trappen is ons huis minder geschikt voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen.

About the neighborhood
Our house is located in a neighbourhood that is characterized by a mix of tall flats and smaller houses. In front of our house you will find a large area with trees and parking lots. Very limited traffic on the road in front of our house (dead end street).
Good connections with public transport: bus stop and tram stop within less than 5 min walk. Shopping center "In de Hoven" within walking distance. With a three-minute walk you find yourself outside the residential area, in the "Kerkpolder park" where you can walk and cycle and enjoy nature. The village centers of the small en pittoresque villages of Den Hoorn and Schipluiden are close by.
Ons huis staat in een woonwijk die gekenmerkt wordt door een afwisseling van hoge flats en laagbouw. Ons huis ligt aan een doodlopende straat, er is dus beperkt autoverkeer. Tramhalte, en winkelcentrum "In de Hoven" op loopafstand. Met drie minuten lopen ben je aan de rand van de wijk, waar je rustig in het groen kunt wandelen en fietsen. De kleine dorpskernen van Den Hoorn en Schipluiden zijn dichtbij.

Our family consists of two adults and three boys. We like to go biking, hiking and we enjoy cooking and watching films.
We live in a house that was built in 2018. Our garden is connected with our neigbours garden. On the ground floor of our house there is an extra living room wich is also used for community events and Paul's business activities (not during holiday's). The private living areas of our family can be found on the first and second floor of the house. This area is completely private.
Two cats live in our house. They are indoor cats and they do alot of sleeping.
We have been members of Intervac before, but have had a break for a few years and we are now back as members. For a number of years we have been happy to offer our house to missionary workers who return to the Netherlands for a short period of time in the summer and need a place to stay.
