Our home is a four bedroom semi-detached property in a quiet, residential area in Winchester, a small cathedral city in the south-east of England, one hour south of London. Our area is easily walkable to the city (25 mins walk or 10 mins drive), but also on the edge of open countryside with beautiful walking and off-road cycling trails on our doorstep. We have lots of toys, games and lego and have bikes you can borrow. You will share the house with our lovely cat, Cilla.

Winchester is a beautiful city with many attractions in the town itself and surrounding area, including Winchester Cathedral, many museums and a wide range of shops and restaurants. Winchester is surrounded by beautiful Hampshire countryside with lovely walking and off road cycling opportunities, including the Test Way, the Itchen Way and the Clarendon Way. Winchester is the starting point for the South Downs Way, a long distance walking path in the south of England (https://southdownsway.org/). For those who like cycling, the Farley Mount Country Park is accessible via off-road cycle trails from our area (https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/visiting-woods/woods/farley-mount-country-park-1/).

Winchester is an ideal location for exploring south-east England. It is 70 miles south of London (one hour by train), 30 mins drive from the New Forest (https://www.thenewforest.co.uk/) and 45 mins from the South Coast and within easy reach of the Isle of Wight ferry for daytrips (https://www.visitisleofwight.co.uk/). The city of Southampton and it's renowned Titanic Museum is 15 minute train/30 minute drive away, Portsmouth's historic dockyards are a 45 min train/drive away and the historic cities of Oxford (1 hr train/drive) and Salisbury (30 mins drive) are within easy reach.
