Welcome to Châteauroux !
We are a friendly family with two children and we live in a peaceful home in Chateauroux, centre of France.
Our home is a cosy and kids friendly 2-floor detached house surrounded with a garden:
- At ground floor where we spend our family life, the 60m2 living space consists of an open kitchen with cooking facilities and a large dining table and the living room space with a cosy sofa, chairs and a lot of space for the children.
At same floor, there are also the parents’ bedroom, an office room with a convertible sofa, the bathroom, the restroom and laundry/storage room.
- Upstairs our house we have installed the 2 bedrooms for the children (equipped with baby-beds) and a third bedroom with a with double bed.
The garden is shaded by the pine trees: we love to invite our family and friends to enjoy barbecue time. You will find a long garden table and chairs and also a little sandbox and toys for the children.

About the neighborhood
From home, the city centre is 20 minutes by foot where you can find bars and good restaurants (traditional French, pizzas, Asian…). There is also a lovely market every Saturday with local products. Châteauroux has also many places to walk, children play grounds and Balsan'éo, a big indoor and outdoor swimming and wellness resort.
Châteauroux is in a very central location in France which allows to go for the Châteaux de la Loire (1-2 hours drive), the Atlantic Ocean (3 hours), ZooParc Beauval (1 hour), Volcanos in Auvergne (3 hours) …
The train station can be reached within 15 minutes by foot and it takes a 2 hours long ride to visit Paris for the day.

We are a friendly family with two children and we live in a peaceful home in Chateauroux, centre of France.
Guillaume (1990) is project manager and Marjolaine (1992) is teacher in an elementary public school in Chateauroux.
Charlie, our firstborn son has begun school last September and Juliette our daughter follows us everywhere without ever arguing (for the moment).
Do you want to discover France from a central and quiet place? Châteauroux will be the good solution!
We love being outdoors (we have a sandbox with sand toys and bicycles) and a lots of toys, especially cars, trains, Lego, Duplo indoors.
