Townhouse next to nature reserve with walking distance to train station (Stockholm city 30 min)
Our house (130 m2) is located in a quiet area near the forest and a ten minute walk to the train station with trains to Uppsala (10 min) and Stockholm (30 min) four times an hour.
On the ground floor there is a connected kitchen and living room, bathroom, and upstairs there is a living room with a piano, two bedrooms (king size/queen size beds), bathroom and a home office. There are patios on both sides of the house.
There is one outdoor parking spot and a garage for the car next to the house.

About the neighborhood
Knivsta is a small town close to nature and yet close to both Stockholm and Uppsala. In Knivsta there are basic services such as grocery stores and a few cafes and restaurants. There is a swimming area in lake Valloxen (Särstabadet) within cycling distance (2 km).
There is a large selection of culture activities and restaurants in Uppsala and Stockholm. Trains run four times an hour to Stockholm (30 min) and to Uppsala (10 min). Stockholm international airport is just seven minutes away by train.

There are plenty of hiking and mountain bike trails and also a kayak rental at the Särstabadet swimming area.

Active couple that enjoy outdoor life and travelling
Agnetha (former principal) and Thomas (consultant) live here. Our son is an adult and lives in Stockholm.
We like outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, sailing, kayaking etc. and traveling. We have done two Intervac exchanges about 20 years ago to the US and to France (old profile SE5502). Now when we have more time, we have started to do home exchanges again.
