A comfortable house in a secluded, wooded setting
Our log house was originally built in 1841. We've owned it since 1993 and made extensive renovations to the bedrooms, office, kitchen, pantry, living and dining areas over the years. We recently built a large addition with a sunny living room. There are three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The first floor bathroom is handicapped accessible. There is an upstairs office, internet, TVs, and a comfortable HVAC system. The house is in a quiet rural area, west of Frederick, MD and about an hour from Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. Close to Antietam Battlefield, the Potomac River, the Appalachian Trail, and Harpers Ferry, WV. Great hiking and Civil War History are near by.
