Our apartment is situated in the ground floor of a well-kept residential building between Heidelberg’s popular Weststadt and Südstadt districts. A public transport stop is just a 6-minute walk away, and the main train station is also within easy reach. By bicycle—Heidelberg’s favorite way to get around—you can reach Bismarckplatz, the gateway to the Old Town and the banks of the Neckar River, in just 10 minutes.
- Stroll through the world-famous Old Town with its winding alleys and cozy cafés and Germany's oldest university library.
- Experience the impressive castle high above the Neckar – one of Germany’s most romantic landmarks. Enjoy the view from the Königsstuhl or wander along the Philosopher’s Walk with its Mediterranean plants and spectacular panoramic vistas. During August: get a ticket for the famous "Schlossfestspiele", a cultural highlight with concerts ansd theatre in the castle. take a boat tour on the neckar Or simply soak up the special atmosphere of this young, vibrant university city.

* The neckar with its "Neckarwiese" is nice for kids, especially around the playground area.
* At the Königstuhl, there is a small amusement park called "Märchenparadies".
The great advantage of this flat: the Heidelberg railway station is not far away: from there you can take the public transport to many other beautiful places in the surrounding areas.
