Herxheim bei Landau, Tyskland

Our house was built in 1927 and is renovated stylish and nice in a french way. Livingarea is on the groundfloor with views in our big mediterranean garden with treeveterans of 27 meter (walnut) and a very private terrasse. The light is phantastic. First floor has three bedrooms, Sauna and Bath. The second floor is a big room under the roof. The house has about 190 sqm and our huge garden 1400sqm. It is children- and animalsave because it is completely fenced.
We live in the warmest area of Germany. It is called the 'German Tuscany' and we have Californian weather in summer. Nearby the palatine forest  (Pfälzer Wald) and the "Vosges" with a real beautiful scenery, medieval castles and villages and very good mountain biking and hiking possibilities. It is a bikeholidayregion and it is famous for its extraordinary vines and the wonderful food. In every village are vinyards and excellent little restaurants. One of the best german restaurants (Hotel Krone - Hayna) is located here.
The Airport Baden-Baden is half an hour away (Ryanair). Strasbourg Airport(France) 80 km and Frankfurt Airport 100 km.Lots of castles to see and visit. Europa-Park Rust and Holidaypark (German Disneyland) are not far.The public swimmingpool with  old trees and beachvollball area and big pools is five minutes away to walk.

Historical very interesting area. (5000 years ago men settled down here). Roman and medieval historic roots are omnipresent in the region. Black forest, Heidelberg, Landau, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt and France (Alsace - Wissembourg and Strasbourg) are nearby.
