The house is on 3 acres in Elmore VT. 2 miles from State Park. On paved road that is known for road biking. Gardens with veggies, berries, and apples. 2 Bedrooms and 1/2 bath upstairs. Connected kitchen living room and full bath downstairs. There is a deck facing the road for morning coffee with patio furniture. 1/2 hour to Stowe Resort, State Capital. Beautiful area. You can bike and hike from the house, but a car rental would allow easy transition from airport and optimal enjoyment of the area.

About the neighborhood
A beautiful little mountain town, Elmore has a state park, a beautiful store/cafe with a deck over the lake. Tons of great hiking and biking locally, including road and mountain trails. Great summer Farmers markets, free outdoor music. Stowe Resort has many activities and access to The Long Trail and Mount Mansfield (our tallest Mtn.) Blue Ribbon fly fishing, multiple rivers, swimming holes, mountain climbs. Alchemist Brewery and Hill Farmstead Brewery and 2 award winners are 1/2 hour+. 1 hour to Burlington. Such a beautiful town with lake front views, restaurants, bike trail, sailing, boat rides. 2 1/2 hours to Montreal, another incredible city to be explored. This area of Vermont is special. I can guide you to interests that fill your visit with positive experiences.

I live in Vermont for the beautiful mountains and kind people. Hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, swimming all within minutes. Moved to here to help run an Organic Farm decades ago, and continue to cultivate food and berries on the property.
My daughter is graduating college and moving out. Thought this would be a good time to travel internationally and have new experiences.
Ran a solar business for 20 years. Also a long time musician that plays and performs guitar. This house is great spot to be remote, and enjoy the outdoors. I can share tons of hikes, swimming holes, biking routes, good farmers markets and restaurants. Free outdoor music during the summer. There is high-speed internet and a deck if you feel like relaxing here. There is also a fire pit out back for small fires with a permit. The house is on Route 12 a renowned biking corridor with waterfalls.
This platform, recommended by a friend, seems like a great way to travel. And I look forward to spending weeks in one location, enjoying local culture, history and food.
