Laranjeiras is a charming bohemian neighborhood, home of the Christ the redeemer. You’ll find restaurants, a cinema, pharmacies, supermarkets and a gym 1 block away from the apartment. Every Saturday there’s the lovely General Glicerio street market with fresh food and live Chorinho music, and every Tuesday you can listen to jazz concerts at the traditional Armazém Cardosao - all within walking distance.

I work from home but try to be outdoors as much as possible. When I’m not photographing, you’ll likely find me canoeing, swimming, hiking or enjoying a good samba around the city.
