An Irish Country Home with beautiful views - private yet close to amenities and culture
Our house sits on a large site on a hillside surrounded by nature and accessed by a country road. Outside we have a patio area with seats, hot tub and barbeque, and inside we have an open-plan living and dining area, a light-filled sitting room with a very cosy couch, bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, with three bedrooms upstairs and one on the ground floor. We also have a study / office area on the ground floor.

About the neighborhood
We are in the country and you will need to drive in order to get around - but if you do, you will be rewarded. There is a wealth of nature in the area, from surf beaches to the Burren GeoPark, to great pubs with great music and food. The area around the house is very quiet and beautiful, with upland farms and fields. You will be staying in a rural community among good neighbours, but the cities of Galway and Limerick are within an hour and the large town of Ennis is only 15 minutes away.

An Irish-Faroese Family in the West of Ireland
We are a family of 6 - Shane from Ireland and Ada originally from the Faroe Islands, and four children living in Ireland, Denmark and the Faroe Islands. We have an active lifestyle which includes a lot of travel between our home countries and elsewhere, hiking, food, music, and of course friends.
