Welcome to our spacious apartment in the heart of Chora, Ios. Just a 2-minute walk from restaurants, cafés, and shops, and within walking distance of the beach, it’s the perfect base for your island getaway.
The apartment stays naturally cool during the summer, offering a comfortable escape from the heat. It features two double beds, one of which is a loft-style bed, comfortably accommodating up to four guests.
Ios is famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and beautiful sandy beaches, with over 30 beaches to explore across the island. Whether you’re looking for lively beach clubs, hidden coves, or peaceful bays, you’ll find the perfect spot. The apartment is also ideal for a quiet winter stay, where you can experience the authentic charm of Ios at a slower pace.

About the neighborhood
Ios is a small Cycladic island with a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful turquoise water, and a mix of lively and quiet places to explore. While it’s known for its summer nightlife, there’s much more to the island than that. You’ll find peaceful beaches, traditional whitewashed streets in Chora, scenic walking and hiking routes, local tavernas, and beautiful sunsets over the Aegean Sea.
One of the best things about Ios is how easy it is to explore. Within a short drive you can visit quiet coves, larger sandy beaches like Manganari, small villages, and viewpoints with stunning sea views. Whether you enjoy spending the day at the beach, discovering hidden spots, or simply slowing down and enjoying island life, Ios is a wonderful place to experience authentic Greek island living.

Adventure-Loving Couple Living the Island Life
Hi! We're Stefania and Lars, an international couple living on the beautiful Greek island of Ios.
Stefania is Greek and Lars is Belgian. We both work in luxury hospitality in Switzerland during the winter season, where attention to detail, respect for property, and providing exceptional guest experiences are part of our everyday work. During the summer, we enjoy spending time in Greece, travelling, discovering new places, and experiencing different cultures through local people.
We love hiking, swimming, exploring hidden beaches, trying local food, and road trips. We're clean, organised, non-smokers, and treat every home with the same care and respect as our own. We believe home exchanging is one of the best ways to experience a destination authentically, and we're excited to meet like-minded people from around the world.
