A cozy house in Denver - 30 minutes from the mountains, with city amenities nearby
Our house is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom Cape Cod style house with all the essentials including kitchen, dining room, living room, partially finished basement, and one car garage, all directly across the street from an elementary school with a playground.
We live walking distance to several parks and a beautiful local swimming pool. The Denver Zoo, Museum of Nature and Science, Aquarium, Children's Museum, swimming and paddleboarding access, hiking and biking trails and much more is located within a 30-minute drive.
After a day out and about, relax in our fenced back yard with a drink and meal on the patio and enjoy the beautiful night air with our firepits.

About the neighborhood
The neighborhood is quiet and is walkable/bikeable, and connects to a bike trail that traverses through the south and east parts of the Denver metropolitan area. In the summertime, there is little traffic on our street. During the school year, we experience a little more traffic during drop-off and pick-up times, but it still remains relatively quiet.

Colorado family of 4 looking for international home exchanges
Nathan (Nate), 38, is a civil engineer who works on dams and hydraulic structures around Colorado and the western United States. Rachel, 38, is an educator and former classroom teacher who works with kids needing extra support to overcome developmental delays. Our children (4 and 6) are in pre-school and just started kindergarten and enjoy going to the park, pool, lake, and being outside. We are hoping to see some fun places and interesting cultures. Rachel grew up doing home exchanges with her parents, and is excited to start the tradition with Nate and their kids.
