My apartment is situated in Flemingsberg, 20 minutes by local train to Stockholm Central station. The apartment is on the 7th floor, right next to the train station, yet quiet and peaceful.

About the neighborhood
Flemingsberg is known as Silicon Flemingsberg because of its many research institutions, such as Karolinska Institute and Södertörn University. Still, what brought me there was the proximity to the forest and small lakes, while everything Stockholm city has to offer is just a short ride (twenty minutes on the local train) away. Flemingsberg offers a number of cheap eateries, three large grocery stores, pharmacies, libraries and gyms. There are trains from Arlanda Airport to Flemingsberg and from Flemingsberg Station you can take regional trains in all directions. The apartment is located in a large but peaceful high-rise complex, built in 1975 in typical Swedish style. There are several playgrounds for children in the immediate vicinity.
